Since 1996, Monica Armstrong has been creating and facilitating programs and workshops engaging spirituality and creativity to energize and inspire women who want a deeper and more meaningful connection to their higher power.
Her private practice of spiritual direction began in 2007. She companions both laity and clergy of all denominations.
Graduate studies in Holistic Spirituality and Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation has inspired her spiritual and healing art and led to her private practice of listening deeply to people’s longings for God, locating presence and supporting creative reflection and response.
From 1978 to 1995, Monica worked with a great variety of special populations on both coasts combining art and spirituality to empower women. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Art Education from Moore College of Art, Graduate Certification in Holistic Spirituality from Chestnut Hill College, and Certification from Shalem Institute of Spiritual Formation in 2007.
She is a member of Spiritual Directors International and certified as a Peer Group counselor.
